Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Adds Kate Boeckman to its Board of Directors
EAGAN, MN - The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce announced it has appointed a new member to its Board of Directors. Kate Boeckman, Attorney and Head of Specialty Content Management and Global Content Operations at Thomson Reuters, will join the Board in March 2019. Kate will join the organization at a time of continued growth and development for the Chamber and Dakota County.
“We are fortunate and excited to be adding a passionate and driven leader from one of our longest standing partners with the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce,” said Maureen Scallen Failor, President of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Kate will bring a different outlook and dynamic to the Board as we continue to develop, support, and advocate for the business community across Dakota County.”
As the Head of Specialty Content Management and Global Content Operations, Kate is responsible for the strategy and execution of operations globally for Thomson Reuters’ specialty content assets. Kate previously held the position of Director of MSP Engineering within the Thomson Reuters Labs. During this time, she spearheaded projects that leveraged emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and virtual personal assistants. Kate has also received the 40 under 40 Award by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal for her outstanding work at Thomson Reuters. Kate holds a BA from Marquette University and received her JD from William Mitchell School of Law.
