Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Honors Award Winners at WomEn’s Leadership ForumMarch 06, 2019
EAGAN, MN – Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced their winners of the ninth annual WomEn’s Leadership Forum Women of Excellence Awards. Cindy Haas of Gateway Bank, Jennifer Crowder of GR Promotions, and Tami Phillippi of Frame MN, are this year’s winners. “Each of these women have shown great leadership, character, and drive in their respected field,” said Maureen Scallen Failor, President of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Cindy, Jennifer, and Tami have been great catalysts for their companies and role models to look up to. It is always inspiring to see women lead and grow businesses in Dakota County.”
Cindy Haas is the winner of Partner of the Year. Cindy has always had a close partnership with the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce and has always encouraged the advancement and success of women in business around Dakota County. Cindy is also one of the original founders of the WomEn’s Leadership Forum and continues to stay engaged as an active member of the committee.
Jennifer Crowder is the winner of Women/Minority owned Business of the Year. She has been a long time, active member of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She encourages other women in business to work hard, do their best, and strive for success. She also serves as a board member for the Ataxia Research Center.
Tami Phillippi is the winner of our Changemaker Award. She owns her own small business and has been part of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce for many years. She is a role model for women who would like to own their own business and control their own destiny. Tami has also been a member of the Eagan Rotary for 20+ years and continues to help with the annual Gala fundraiser.
Along with the three award winners, the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation will be awarding five, $1,000 scholarships to seniors attending high school in the Dakota County Region. The five students who will be awarded this year’s scholarships are: Catherine Bauer, Henry Sibley High School; Ruby Filhart, Henry Sibley High School; Hanna Holmstrom, Burnsville High School; Brianna Kirk, Burnsville High School; and Caitlyn Storley, Rosemount High School.Contact:Diane Mavis, Director of Programs & Events(651) 452-9872
