Home Federal and Cub presents the 6th Annual Superbagging Event benefiting The Open Door
Home Federal and Cub presents The 6th Annual Superbagging Event benefiting The Open Door will be held Super Bowl weekend, Feb 2 - 3 at Cub locations in Eagan and Apple Valley
What is Super Bagging?
The annual Super Bagging Event is one of the largest fundraising events for The Open Door food pantry. Engaged community members greet neighbors and friends at Cub Foods stores in Eagan and Apple Valley, bag groceries for tips, and promote Community Cares food bag purchases - all to help stock The Open Door’s pantry shelves. All donations go to The Open Door.
Winter is a time of year when food and fund donations typically slow down, but the need continues. Last year, we raised $40,000 in cash and food donations during Super Bagging. This year, our goal is $50,000.
Volunteer for Super Bagging:
Two-hour volunteer shifts are available Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3.
Sign up individually, or better yet, bring your family, school group, or co-workers and sign up for an entire shift (8-10 volunteer slots). Volunteers receive a free t-shirt to wear during their shift, and take home after.
