Minnesota Energy Resources Corporation is currently recruiting for Student Workers – Meter Painters.
These are a full-time positions beginning in May or June with a starting wage of $12.77 per hour and are expected to last through the summer months.
Summer students provide general assistance and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by various departments in the corporate and district offices, power plants, service center, warehouse, and surrounding locations.
Responsibilities may include:
• Preparing surfaces for painting
• Performing painting (primarily meter sets), cleaning, and housekeeping duties
• Loading, unloading, and storing material
• Assisting with janitorial tasks such as minor repairs, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Entering data and operating computers
• Filing documents
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree.
A valid driver’s license.
This position requires you to use your personal vehicle to travel to various worksites throughout the day.
