2023 Advocacy and Issues Forum - June
It's a Wrap - Legislative Roundup
With the rapid-paced 2023 Legislative session adjourning this week, several large bills are still being worked on by committees as lawmakers try to reach agreements on the final pieces of a new two-year state budget. Plus, final negotiations on a paid family leave program and legal marijuana are also underway. With some business groups and health organizations pushing back will the final pieces of agenda pass?
Please join us on Thursday, June 1 to hear from Laura Bordelon, Senior Vice President for Advocacy with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce as she covers what legislation passed, what did not, and what, if anything, is outstanding. Laura will also touch on the work the MN Chamber of Commerce did this session and provide her unique perspective. You will not want to miss this event!
