Eagan

Eagan's Founder's Day Lunch and State of the City Address-

Thank you to all those that attended this great event.  In addition to adding approxmiately 3000 pounds of food to the goal of 150,000 pounds, the over 150 attendees enjoyed a short film re-enactment of what Eagan's first township meeting may have been like.  Many well recognized Eagan residents, business leaders and dignitaries starred in this production.  Mayor Maguire presented a historical synopsis of the last 150 years of Eagan as a township from that first township meeting, to becoming a full fledged city in 1974, and a look into the future.  Mayor Maguire concluded with a challenge to all which was, "What can each of us do to engage and make our community a better place?"
