Disaster Recovery Workshop Information
In partnership with Rosemount Police, Dakota County Public Health, American Red Cross and the private sector, DCR hosted a Disasters Recovery Workshop at the May AM Connection. Below are some documents and links to resources that will be helpful in emergency preparedness planning for your business and home.

Operational

Rosemount Town Pages
Monthly articles in the Rosemount Town Pages update area members on happenings within the RABC area, including updates, new businesses current events, initiative progress, etc.

Membership
All council members are to choose 1 new member per month (depending on list), to deliver new member packet; making sure the contact is the appropriate person, briefly discuss the DCR and the RABC, ways to get involved and upcoming events.

Government Relations
Continue developing relationships with our elected officials on the local, state and federal levels in order to get their help with issues directly effecting businesses in the RABC community. Update the RABC members and members at large about important government issues. Work to involve RABC members in the Chamber's Government Affairs. Encourage members to serve on city commissions and run for elected offices.

Initiatives

Rosemount AM Connection
Business leaders from Rosemount and surrounding areas are invited to come and network with one another, hear a brief city update about issues affecting the Rosemount business community. In addition, participants plan programs that are of interest from a professional development perspective.

Membership - Recruitment & Retention
Foster existing business and entrepreneurial growth in our business community. The goal is active participation by 50 percent of RABC members, including events and involved members in communities; research and gather facts about what the members want regarding economic development, redevelopment and the chamber.
