DCR Chamber Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings
Opening a new business, relocating, or reopening? DCR Chamber invites members to host Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Opening events. These events are great opportunities to bring members of the chamber and community into your business, introduce yourself to others and advertise your company.
What the Chamber Will Do: The Chamber will invite Ambassadors and city staff to attend the event to honor your business. Additionally, the chamber will advertise your ribbon cutting in the Weekly Update and online events calendar. Staff members will attend your ribbon cutting, bringing the big scissors and ribbon. We see this event as being a great marketing opportunity for your business, so we will take a picture at the ribbon cutting and display this picture on the weekly update for members to see. These events are complimentary for being a member of the chamber.
What YOU Need to Do: We recommend you call us to schedule your ribbon cutting, as date availability varies month to month. We encourage you to invite your clients, neighboring businesses and other members. We can send you a spreadsheet of members mailing addresses for you to send out a mailing to them.
This is a great opportunity for you to meet other members and introduce them to your business. We strongly encourage members to schedule a ribbon cutting with us. Please contact us for more information.
Grow Minnesota is a shining example of what we do best: harness public and private resources to keep Minnesota companies strong and competitive in today’s global economy. Your Chamber is proud to have been one of the founding partners ten years ago when the program was launched by the Minnesota Chamber. In total, more than 8,000 Minnesota companies have been visited to thank them for their investments in their communities and the State of Minnesota. As a result of visits, partners have provided assistance to 1,200 companies.
Your Chamber’s Grow MN Committee is active in visiting businesses throughout the Dakota County region. We know it is much easier to retain a business than attract a new one. For more information on how you can play an important part in this economic development initiative, contact Vicki Stute at 651.288.9201.
