  • Facilitating member communication with state and local officials through regular conference calls and breakfast programs
  • Becoming involved in addressing local business issues at a policy level
  • Position statements on key local, regional, and state issues

Tax Policy

Dave Dederichs, Manager, Fiscal and Labor/Management Policy, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, will discuss the state budget deficit and how that is going to impact the business community in terms of taxes (i.e. business property tax, fourth income tax bracket, capital equipment, single sales, etc.).

2008 Legislative Conference Calls

DCR will again participate in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Legislative Conference Call Series. The half hour calls provide an update on the most current business issues at the Capitol and provide the opportunity for local chambers to ask questions. All calls will take place on Friday mornings at the DCR Chamber office from 7:30-8:00 am. Please remember these calls are for DCR or Minnesota Chamber members only.  The conference call series is not available to elected officials.
